Medieval fixing pin replica of brass.
Here you can buy an authentic medieval fixing pin after historical models of the Middle Ages, which was used to fasten fabric.
In the Middle Ages it was widespread to form the head of a brass pin to form a head - This technique of making such simple fixing pins can be traced over a very wide period of time throughout the whole Middle Ages and even beyond.
This medieval fixing pin replica is also made of a special brass alloy which allows the pin to be screwed around the head as it was usual during the Middle Ages.
The medieval fixing pin is very pointy and carefully polished.
The medieval fixing pin is 4 cm long and made true-to-detail according to original brass pins from the Middle Ages.
The wire thickness is 1 mm.

Living History is making history come to life, and there are groups around the country that weekend in and weekend out (and some days in between) will set up a living history encampment, although at the moment my pages are focused generally upon the Migration, Saxon/Viking age, many of the items are transferable to other periods such as Roman and Crusade and earlier/later.
We hope this section can provide you with items to enhance your display, and if you're not a re-enactor, then also to enhance your home.
Please note that some wooden items may no longer be in stock throughout event season however please contact me to replicate anything you may see and like.
