Viking ear spoon replica from the island of Adelsö. (Björkö, Adelsö, Uppland, Sweden)
Here you can buy a faithfully crafted replica of a Viking ear spoon, which was made after a find from the island of Adelsö.
This Viking ear spoon is characterized by a decorative knot motif that ends in an animal head in Borre style with the shaft of the ear spoon in its mouth and dates to the 9th centuries.
Among the Vikings, ear spoons were an important part of women's costumes and are therefore found in various designs everywhere in the Viking settlement areas.
Viking women often wore these ear spoons on a long chain or leather strap attached to their bowl brooches, and often a pair of tweezers and an awl were also attached to the ear spoon in this way.
The Viking ear spoon from Adlesö measures 7 x 1.5 cm and thus corresponds to the original dimensions of the historical model.
Made of high-quality bronze
A black leather thong in 1 metre length is included.

We hope this section can provide you with items to enhance your display, and if you're not a re-enactor, then also to enhance your home.
Please note that some wooden items may no longer be in stock throughout event season however please contact me to replicate anything you may see and like.
